NEW SLI.2

HIGH TO LOW LEVEL CONVERSION INTERFACE FOR OEM INTEGRATION

THE NEW .2 SERIES – THE NEW STANDARD OF LINE OUTPUT CONVERSION

·         NEW AUDIO TRANSFORMERS

·         HIGH VOLTAGE CAPABLE (35V RMS)

·         USS SPEAKER LOADING

·         ART DC SIGNAL SENSING

The conversion is carried out with new transformers, specifically developed for audio use, which guarantees wide bandwidth. This STOP NOISE technology provides total rejection of electrical interference, thanks to the galvanic separation between source and amplifier. Shielding and PCB layout maximize stereo separation. The use of an innovative material for the core of the transformer also ensures very low signal distortion, even for high input voltages!

The DSR (Double Step-Down Ratio) system allows two attenuation levels – High-Power (8: 1) or Low-Power (4: 1) This new feature makes it possible to correctly interface with both traditional low-power OEM sources and OEM amplifiers with high-power, high-voltage outputs – up to 35V RMS!

The USS (UNIVERSAL SPEAKERS SIMULATOR) circuit simulates the load of the speakers for four OEM output channels. With the SLi4.2, all four loaded channels pass through the conversion process. For the Sli2.2, two channels are loaded and converted, and two channels are terminated with a USS load (perfect for unused rear or center channel outputs!) In addition, these two terminated channels can serve as the source of DC for the ART turn-on circuit (perfect for adding subwoofers to RAM-equipped BMWs with 688 audio, for example).

The ART™ (AUTOMATIC REMOTE TURN-ON) function is compatible with all OEM sources, including the latest generation. When the SLI is powered, it generates a +12V remote output for turning on aftermarket amplifiers.

All wirings are terminated with Molex* connections featuring a tear-proof plastic strip, for a long-lasting and easy connection.

To ease the installation, the robust and compact aluminum shielding chassis with a connection diagram on the bottom, features connections on one side only, facilitating positioning even in the rear dashboard.
