HIGH TO LOW LEVEL CONVERSION INTERFACE FOR OEM INTEGRATION
THE INTERFACES FOR CONNECTION OEM INTEGRATION ARE COMPLETELY RENEWED WITH THE SLI.2 SERIES. NEW DESIGN AND ADVANCED FUNCTIONALITY FOR A HIGH-QUALITY UPGRADE OF OEM AUDIO SYSTEMS
The conversion is carried out with new transformers, specifically developed for audio application, which guarantee wide bandwidth as they feature the STOP NOISE technology providing total rejection of electrical interference thanks to the galvanic separation between source and amplifier. The use of an innovative material for the core of the transformer also ensures a very low signal distortion even for high input voltages in the case of interfacing with OEM amplifiers.
The DSR (Double Step-Down Ratio) system allows the conversion ratio between High-Power (8: 1) and Low-Power (4: 1) to be selected using the switch, independently for each output channel. This new feature makes it possible to correctly interface with both traditional OEM sources (Low-Power) and OEM amplifiers with high-voltage outputs (High-Power) up to 35V RMS.
The USS (UNIVERSAL SPEAKERS SIMULATOR) circuit simulates the load of the speakers on the 4 Front + Rear input channels, for a complete compatibility of the interface with the OEM sources that detect the impedance of the OEM speakers connected to the outputs. This function for the 4 input channels is now also available for SLI 2.2, providing the ability to connect the rear speakers’ outputs when the user chooses not to amplify them via the OEM head unit.
The ART™ (AUTOMATIC REMOTE TURN-ON) function is compatible with all OEM sources, including the latest generation ones and when the SLI is powered, it generates a 12 V remote output for the remote control of the system amplifiers**.
All wirings are terminated with Molex* connections featuring a tear-proof plastic strip, for a long-lasting and easy connection.
To ease the installation, the robust and compact aluminium shielding chassis with connection diagram on the bottom, features connections on one side only, facilitating positioning even in the rear dashboard.
